Conference Overview

A hybrid international conference bringing together scholars, researchers, practitioners, students, and policymakers to explore ethical, inclusive, and human-focused applications of AI across communication, language, media, education, business, and health.

About CSi5 2026

CSi5 2026 is an international academic conference centred on the theme “Synergizing Strategic Leadership, Sustainable Innovation, and Human-Centred AI in a Disruptive Global Economy.” The CSi series began in Penang, Malaysia in 2018, bringing together scholars and practitioners committed to advancing scientific communication and interdisciplinary collaboration. The 4th CSi in 2024 marked a significant milestone, representing an ongoing international collaborative effort among affiliated institutions and signalling the start of the conference’s second cycle.

Throughout the series, CSi has demonstrated that diversity in research, pedagogy, and professional practice transcends borders and perspectives, uniting global voices into a shared platform for innovation and knowledge exchange. Building on the success of CSi4 2024, which laid the foundation for discussions on integrating technology in scientific communication, CSi5 2026 advances this momentum by focusing on how strategic leadership, sustainable innovation, and Human-Centred Artificial Intelligence (AI) can work together to address the challenges of a rapidly evolving global landscape.
