CSi5 2026 is held as part of the 1st International Conference on Global Business, Scientific Communication, and Linguistics (IC-BUSCLi 2026).
CSi5 2026 will be held as part of IC-BUSCLi 2026, a joint conference that combines the 2nd International Conference on Business Management, Accounting, Engineering and Humanities (ICIBMAH 2026) and the 5th International Conference on Communication in Scientific Inquiry (CSi5 2026).
Both conferences share the theme “Synergizing Strategic Leadership, Sustainable Innovation, and Human-Centred AI in a Disruptive Global Economy.” Taking place on 1 September 2026 at Penang Waterfront Convention Centre, Malaysia, the conference will be held in a hybrid format to encourage global participation. Building on the success of CSi4 (2024), CSi5 2026 focuses on the rapid rise of Generative AI across education, media, health, and business.
The conference highlights the importance of the Human-in-the-Loop approach to ensure ethical, responsible, and human-centred AI adoption while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange among academics, industry, and policymakers. As part of IC-BUSCLi 2026, CSi5 2026 takes the lead in advancing research and innovation in scientific communication.
The first CSI took place in Penang, Malaysia, in 2018. The 4th CSI in 2024 signified an ongoing international collaborative effort among affiliated institutions and marked the start of its second cycle.
